Matthew Livelsberger, a highly decorated active duty US Army Green Beret, shot himself in the head seconds before self-immolation. The 37-year old soldier was home on leave from Stuttgart, Germany.

Not unlike photographs, human speech is also composed of figurative expressions. The photographic representation of reality is a metaphorical image of another reality, which remains visually absent. Similarly, words which may be obscured or totally lacking in a tirade can be understood by the context of the presentation. It is not so much that the speech sounds "contain" meaning; it is rather that they "trigger" meaning.
