Indeed, “no step back” craziness has been catastrophic, almost as bad as dual Z-Syrsky/Z-Zaluzhny chains of command, the populist decision in August 2023 to fire the heads of all of Ukraine’s regional military recruitment offices, refusal to mobilize and train sufficient numbers of new recruits, sacking the commander-in-chief for no reason and endless subsequent piar campaigns revolving around the Peace Formula, Victory and Resistance Plans.
Often Ukrainians seem baffled that competent military-civilian management —not piar campaigns — is essential for their continued survival: Donald, after all, has promised to end the war in 24 hours.
After listening to Pete and Marco this week at US Senate confirmation hearings, I don’t think it’s a great idea to rely on Team USA for anything. Tulsi is still lurking in the shadows.
