Russia is blitzing on the battlefield ahead of truce talks which might freeze fronts. Meanwhile, the White House says we are on 10th yardline of peace. Today Vova and Donald will divvy up assets (Ukraine’s) and attempt to push the ball (peace) into the endzone.
Expectations are low.
A Munich (1938) moment or a Yalta moment (1945)?

Munich 1938 and Yalta 1945 tell us humans learn nothing, they just repeat the same mistakes over and over again because those mistakes are the easy way out. By screwing over Ukraine, Donald is building up a store of anger and hatred toward the USA, who promised so much and delivered so little. The alignment of USA with Russia is a futile attempt by Trump to form some kind of bulwark against China, when China and Russia are already in an alliance and USA's only chance of a bulwark against China was with Europe. The Arctic is the future battleground, I suspect, as global warming turns it into a sea and all that lovely oil and gas up there is waiting to be fought over. It looks like a North Korea/South Korea situation might be where we are headed, unless Germany, France and UK get their shit together, which is highly unlikely.
