Palm Sunday massacre
Russia fired two ballistic missiles into the center of Sumy (population 255,000) on Palm Sunday, killing more than a dozen, including a half dozen children, and wounding scores more.
The strike came hours after Donald told reporters on Air Force One that the Ukraine talks “might be going OK.”
"I think Ukraine-Russia might be going OK, and you’re going to be finding out pretty soon," Trump told reporters on Air Force One, while adding: "There’s a point at which you just have to either put up or shut up and we'll see what happens, but I think it’s going fine." - Donald (Reuters, April 13, 2025)
Talks are not going OK.
We pointed out in February, when US-brokered “peace talks” began, that Russia would seek to stain the hands of Donald and his special envoys with the blood of Ukrainians. That is exactly what happened.
Today’s disaster in Sumy follows a similar strike in Z’s hometown Kryvyi Rih last week1.
