Did I mention that article appearing the other day by Kim in The New York Times about how Ukrainians wait obediently at intersections?

Even as Air-Raid Sirens Blare, Ukrainians Wait for the Light to Change. Anyone new to Ukraine may quickly notice the disconnect between the front line and much of daily life farther away, including the patient behavior of pedestrians waiting to cross the street (The New York Times, July 20, 2025)

Sigh.

Missing is the part about how Ukrainians fornicate in public.

There is no reason to walk around with a sheathed knife on your hip anywhere. Unless, that is, you are looking for trouble. I saw a teenager the other day in civvies wandering around with a M07 (and decided not to take his picture).
