The big news here is the expansion of Gunia Universe to the corner of Zolotovoritska and Reitarska, right in back of State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and State Border Service headquarters. The venue replaces the seafood dive across the way that for decades served up overpriced squid to top law-enforcers and their wives, consorts, et cetera. Sod grass cut in large squares was trucked in and patted down on Wednesday evening. It’s all so beautiful now that dogs are afraid to piss on it.
