I’m not sure what the flower blob in the lower right corner is. My guess is Crimea, without Kerch. Maybe it will better resemble the peninsula after watering.

Kyiv can sometimes be regarded as a suprisingly green city, considering it’s one of the most car-congested places in the world.

Khreschatyk, the capital’s main thoroughfare, is a concrete jungle in the summer, but window dressing has improved drastically this year.

The shady walkways of the city gardens and Mariyinsky Park stretching along the wooded ridge above the Dnipro river east of Hrushevskoho Street from the Friendship Arch to Arsenalna Metro are popular when it gets hot..

The biggest Jasmine bloom in Kyiv can be found at Hryshko Botanical Garden, about a mile away, usually during the first weeks of June, maybe earlier, if there’s enough rain.

By far the best places for flowers and fresh air are out of town.
