The coup, part of the sub-genre of political hip hop, is once again in vogue, this time in Russia, thanks to Yevgeny Prigozhin, who kicked off the proceedings on June 23 with series of Telegram rants criticizing Russia’s military bosses and re-alleging grotesque acts of impropriety and stupidity.

We had suspected the shit would hit the fan.

Hours later, Rostov oblast governor sounded the alarm, according to CNN.

It’s only 5 a.m. in Kyiv. No one knows exactly what is taking place. Yet.
