A common misconception is you can just enter a war zone and start snapping photos. This is most certainly not the case, at least not in Kyiv, where you might be arrested for giving away the coordinates of successful cruise missile strikes.
It’s best to wait at least three hours before posting your snaps, unless you are wounded and require urgent medial assistance and exfiltration. The entire country is a war zone, so it’s best to keep at least two tourniquets and a couple of bandaids in your go-bag.
