Downtown Kyiv yesterday evening felt terribly lonely. City state administration officials rescheduled the curfew during the day to start from 20.00 instead of 22.00, so there was practically no one on the streets. Even worse, they’ve stopped selling booze.
It’s not a bright idea these days to snap anywhere. A guard in front of the Leonardo Business Center bolted out of booth waving his pistol when I took a photo of the German embassy on Bohdana Khmelnytskoho street. Wound up having to mumble something in Irish gaelic to prove my passport wasn’t fake.
