Architects! Where is Your Cortex?
Long ago I did a poster, aping Wyndham Lewis. It was a lame attempt to dun builders for flouting the practicalities of living and working in the things they make, like the add-on structures cluttering the grounds of Kyiv Pechersk Lavra.
The lavra remains an architectural dog’s breakfast, yet the aura is lighter than when Russian security agents diguised as monks patrolled the sprawling compound.
