Day 722
Lots of people sheltering in the metro this morning.
As of this writing, nothing hit Kyiv.
One of the errant projectiles created this crater outside Kyiv in Bucha. We all remember Bucha, yes? That was the scene of a genocidal massacre at the start of total war in early 2022.

Twelve X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles from T-95ms strategic aviation aircraft (Engels);
Six Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles (Voronezh);
Two Kalibr cruise missiles (Novorossiysk, Russia);
Four X-59 guided missiles (TOT of Zaporizhia region, Kursk region - Russian Federation);
Two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles (Belgorod region - Russian Federation).
💥 The Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces destroyed 13 missiles of various types:
Eight X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles;
One Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile;
Two Kalibr cruise missiles;

I bumped into a very long line on the walk home last night. It signifies that Ukrainians have, finally, caught on to the the piano booth trend.
On the Team USA jacket, I listened to Speaker Mike, who continues to put base politics ahead of national security interests. The MAGA maggot our-way-or-the-highway approach is doomed to failure.
David at The Atlantic examines Republican Party, Inc, reminding me of Anne’s harping about about how unreliable, unserious and silly Team USA has become1.
Is Congress Really Going to Abandon Ukraine Now? The U.S. rallied the world to help the Ukrainians. Are Americans really going to leave them to their fate? (The Atlantic, February 14, 2024)
