Day 748
Z blurted out during his interview with French jornos that there would be no demobilization until the war ends.
"There are debates among parliament deputies. They argue about when soldiers can be discharged, when they can't, which ones you can [discharge], etc. There is no demobilization during war in ordinary legislation," the president explained to French journalists. “Nobody counted on it. That's why there are different issues: on rotation, leave."
When the Z was asked if Ukraine is planning large-scale forced conscription, he said that this effort has been ongoing since the start of total war and takes place every few months.
"There is an appropriate number of people who are mobilized monthly and quarterly. And these numbers are all monitored by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and they fluctuate,” Z said, adding that there furter mobilization steps envisaged by the General Staff.
Knowledge is information that has causal power. Unfortunately, Z doesn’t have near enough information between his ears to provide a more cogent explanation about figuring out ETS (expiration term of service).
Ukraine’s new Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky is currently conducting an audit, whatever that is, to determine how many soldiers are in the armed forces, what they are actually doing and how much they should be paid. So, we remain in a conjecture-refutation loop.
