Which brings me to Joseph Stiglitz’s new book bemoaning neoliberalism, “The Road to Freedom. Economics and the Good Society,” which I haven’t read. An adapted version appears in The Atlantic. Joseph invokes Isaiah, which is nice. I wonder whether good society is the same thing as open society. We will be forced to buy and read the book to find out.
