I listened to Latynina and Portnikov discuss the difference between identity and ethnicity and how Ukrainians were never partners in Russia’s imperial project and Soviet empire.
Yulia and a former advisor to the President’s Office chatted up earlier the Russia-Ukraine war as if it were a civil war (which I spent about 10 years arguing unuccessfully that it was not1).

For the record. Yesterday, I was asked to find documented evidence of my expulsion from Belarus is 1997 for submission to Ukraine’s Migration Service involving a refugee status application.
