The last time Z chatted up independent Ukrainian journalists was late November in 2021. That was an unmitigated disaster and he has avoided them since, preferring interviews with mostly clueless foreign flaks2.
It’s probably a good time for an intervention by ambassadors to G7 countries in Kyiv. They should meet face-to-face with Z and his top managers and explain why and how Ukraine loses agency with each successive childish attack on the country’s fourth estate.
