Early this morning I walked past a furry little green gorilla wearing a red ribbon sitting near a manhole in Kyiv.
There are 19 days left until November 5, 2024 (Day 986), and 14 days until Day 1,000. So, 33 days until then.

Post-war whatever. We’ll station Ukrainian troops in Europe after the war

The president in his speech also emphasized the importance of maintaining solidarity among Ukrainians.
Interlude
We conclude that Z is obvi living in a parallel universe on the NATO and unity parts of his spiel. In Ukraine, at least, the president has been demotivator-in-chief for the last two years. CIA operatives army wearing sneakers have documented ad nauseum unflattering foibles involving the President’s Office and Tiger Team has crunched the data, drawn conclusions, made recommendations, reported the nationwide official USD billions (?) draft-dodging racket, et cetera.
Looking on the bright side, Uncle Joe and Z will remain in touch, at least virtually.
