On the tenth day in the second year of fascistic Russia’s nine-year genocidal campaign against Ukraine a Belarusian court sentenced Nobel Laureate Ales Bialiatski to ten years in jail

More than a quarter of a century earlier, in 1996, Ales set up Viasna in Minsk. That was the year Lukashenko & Co. chucked Slavomir Adamovich (Славамір Адамовіч) in jail for writing the poem, titled “Kill the President.

I forget how, exactly, we got Slavomir out of jail, but Ales and Garry helped.
