Spent most of the day translating a diary of a dumb kid from Russia-occupied Donetsk region who was forcibly conscripted, sent to Russia-occupied Kherson region and blown to smithereens before the liberation of the west bank of the Dnipro river in November 2022.
As I typed, I listened to Vova’s press conference.
At one point, he started bragging about how he can launch an intermediate range missile at Kyiv and there is nothing Ukraine and it’s partners can do about it.
"And those Western experts who think (the Oreshnik can be intercepted), let them suggest to us and those in the West who pay them to conduct a technological experiment," Putin said.
"Let's call it a high-tech duel of the 21st century. Let them determine some site to hit, let's say, in Kyiv, concentrate all their air defenses there, and we will strike there with the Oreshnik and see what happens.1"
Oh, dear.
