Donald does not have a plan to rescue Ukraine from Russia’s invasion. Yesterday he and Marco said stopping the bloody war is a top priority, but they did not explain how — or if — Team USA will help. Meanwhile, all US foreign development program assistance will be frozen for the next 90 days, whatever that means.
In other news, Pete and John, picks to lead the Pentagon and the Central Intelligence Agency, respectively, have mustered approval from the Senate committees overseeing their nominations. Neither has explained why helping Ukraine makes any sense.
Z wants us to hope that Team USA is on Ukraine’s side. Maybe he should rethink what he expects from from the Golden Age of America, and why he does.
Meanwhile, Russian invaders are shelling Pokrovsk, a small city in eastern Ukraine with a pre-war population of 60,000. About 10,000 people still live there.
