On the Ukraine jacket, the death toll in Kyiv from the Russian air strike on the night of June 16–17, 2025, was confirmed to be 28 people killed with around 134 injured. Most of the fatalities (23) occurred when a missile struck a nine-story residential building in the Solomianskyi district, causing it to collapse.
Yesterday Putin told James Jordan of The Associated Press (136’) that if journalists had actually seen entire residential neighborhoods [in Kyiv] being destroyed by our missiles, they probably wouldn’t be able to tell you about it, because they wouldn’t have survived.
