Ukraine’s counteroffensive northeast of Kharkiv has picked up speed over the last couple of days as mobile units equipped with modern tactical gear and smart night optics1 continue routing Russia-occupation forces shelling Ukraine’s second largest city. It’s a prelude for what will occur in Russia-occupied regions in southern Ukraine during the coming weeks, months and, hopefully, not years.
Stefan Korshak, Senior Defense Correspondent at Kyiv Post, also known as Ukraine’s goat with teeth2, has written an exclusive in-depth analysis of the mess, which I won’t elaborate on, except to say that Kyrylo is, in fact, in charge of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence Agency and not just it’s spokesman.
On the tactical level, a template of Ukraine’s counteroffensive will look something like the almost theatrically staged liberation of Ruska Lozova w/ Kraken at the end of April. DIA has produced an eight-minute video of the op and circulated it widely on social media. It reminded me of a gigantic paintball tournament until I saw the private military contractors wearing freshly pressed cammies and colorful unit patches.
I started reading The Washington Post’s wordy race-against-time analysis by Liz and Catherine. The cat interrupted me after the second paragraph, so I just skimmed through the rest.
Liz and Catherine can call me if they’re in Ukraine. I’ll give them a couple of Binox 4K Hunting Binoculars and embed them with Kraken so they can record Russia-occupation forces running for their lives at night towards the Russian border. I wouldn’t be surprised if hundreds, hopefully thousands, of them will be encircled and taken prisoner in the upcoming weeks. Either that or atomized and sent on a one-way trip to the fertilizer factory.
In other news, I have started to follow the exploits of “special operators from the United States, UK and Norway fighting for Ukraine” on Twitter. They complain Russia-occupation forces are not invading or occupying, but retreating. Next stop, Vigilance Elite w/ Shawn or an exclusive self-aggrandizing whatever by X22 on Rumble.
And, of course, Malcom, who is still hawking his They Want to Kill Americans book and re-channeling Uliia and Michael.
The weather in Kyiv is wonderful. Clear blue skies and warm weather. Preps for V-day celebrations and Putin’s Death parties are well underway.
Deputy Digital Transformation Minister, Diia City Director Alex Bornyakov announces arrival of ATN Smart Night equip on the contact line.
I regard the BBC as the gold standard in this regard, as does Mr. Kivan. We both want the journalism of the Kyiv Post to meet the highest international standards. Something Memorable. The Foam of Testosterone (November 20, 2021)
