Our model was back today with his e-bike wearing a cap with a second fishing rod. Turns out his beautiful black bikini bottoms I wrote about on Day 847 are old blue underwear.
I listened to Putin’s 30-minute press conference in Vietnam.
He repeated threats to arm Team USA’s adversaries, e.g. North Korea, Iran and its proxies, with sophisticated Russian weapons. The White House, meanwhile, said Ukraine can use American weapons to hit inside Russia ‘anywhere’ it attacks across the border. That would include Russia’s Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, Voronezh and Rostov regions.
Russian invaders remain concentrated in occupied eastern and southern areas of the country and continue attempts to seize more territory, especially the chunk illustrated below.
Christopher at The Guardian, meanwhile, argues that letting Ukraine join NATO would be a mistake1.
The above paragraph caught my attention because of the word neuralgic.
Neuralgia can be uncomfortable and even debilitating, but it's not life threatening, unless, of course, you live in Ukraine.
I agree with the author that admitting Ukraine into NATO now is silly while also recognizing the fact that NATO itself is silly. We want liberal democracies in our defensive alliance, not just electoral ones. So, maybe get rid of Hungary first? The debate of whether Ukraine should be allowed to join the bloc distracts us from our struggle to continue existing.
Putin’s narrative for invading Ukraine is as ridiculous now as it was ten years ago. The best way to cure his psychosomatic disorder is decapitation.
Last, but not least, Mykola the Pork Chop.
Mykola is a member of parliament from the president’s Servant of the People. Andriy Yermak, head of the President’s Office, is the godfather of his kid.
Mykola was in Dnipro yesterday with his goons getting his percent. This is apropos of the liberal vs electoral democracy stuff I harp about constantly.
We all remember Mykola, yes2?
