Autotrophic disfunction
Donald and Mark talked about how best to disregard Team Russia’s launch of an intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) at Dnipro, Ukraine on Thursday.
The mother of bad ideas. Ukraine is incapable of even producing mortar rounds. Why would anyone think Z and his potent managers could manage a nuclear weapons arsenal is beyond me.
Vova, on the other hand, is not bluffing. It's not that he wants a nuclear war and to burn in its flames, but he has no fallback option.
For Vova, any defeat is absolute, leading to loss of power and loss of life. Team Russia has no contingency plan. Russians in Russia can either die with Vova or die alone. Obviously, for now, they now prefer the first option. Trying to figure out the plan is no longer interesting.
The simple fact that Russia might drop a couple of tactical nuclear bombs is no longer appalling.

Today North Korea, Iran and China are fighting with Vova against Ukraine. Uncle Joe’s wishy-washy self-deterence policy has exacerbated grievances. Europe doesn’t have enough guns or ammo or enough soldiers. Third world countries are sitting on the fence.
Donald was asleep during four (4) years (2016-2020) of the war. His administration sold Ukraine some Javelin MANPADs and attempted to blackmail Z into providing dirt on Uncle Joe’s son, Biden. Team USA’s 47th president has never visited Ukraine. Neither have his miserable offspring.
And yes, Poland is Polish.
The last time I encountered Polish soldiers was in 1991 at Berlin Schönefeld Airport. They were drunk at the bar wearing ridiculous looking dress uniforms and weird hats. I laughed. In 1999 Poland joined NATO. Since then, Polish soldiers have participated in botched military missions in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq. The Polish military is, er, a non-deterrent. Same goes for the armies of Germany, France and Italy. The United Kingdom has a puny army.
