hi, chris. i don't think it matters in the short term. whose open society are you referring to? if we wish our civilization to survive we must break with the habit of deference to great men, because they usually make great mistakes. there is something amiss if we present gs as a totalitarian party-politician, unsuccessful in his immediate and practical undertakings, but in the long run only too successful in his propaganda for the arrest and overthrow of totarliarian regimes which he hated. *open society* for many these daze is a cliche. as a 501(c) foundation, it was evergreened during the late 90s.
